 Featuring a wide variety of banking services, TeleBanc NT provides a resourceful tool to any institution by allowing customers to verify current account balances, transfer funds, request transaction information, inquire into current interest rates, order checks, place stop payments and leave messages for their banking representatives from any touch tone telephone. When coupled with ITI's Bill Payment Module (BPM), TeleBanc NT customers are also able to pay bills by telephone. Since TeleBanc NT services are available anytime day or nigh t seven days a week, TeleBanc NT can help balance the load or even reduce the demand on staff time while providing customer access to their account information when they want it, anytime.

 

TeleBanc NT is a high performance service delivery product which integrates with ITI's Premier II System. TeleBanc NT provides a sound and secure remote communication system which is powerful, flexible and user friendly. This advanced design delivers the capabilities of multi-tasking, allowing for high volume transaction processing.

 

Types of Activities

 

  TeleBanc NT customers can make inquiries about their account(s) and perform many financial transactions by simply using a touch tone telephone. Your customers know their account information is current because all customer initiated transactions, whether from TeleBanc NT, proof, teller workstations, ATMs or one of the other Connect3 delivery channels, are memoposted in a real-time environment. TeleBanc NT activities include any combination of the following:

  • Customer Information
  • Account inquiry (current balance, last deposit, last payment, interest)
  • Check inquiry by number
  • Bill payment from checking or savings (ITI Bill Payment Module required)
  • Funds transfer between checking and savings accounts
  • Loan payments from checking or savings
  • Loan advances to checking or savings
  • DDA loan advances to checking or savings
  • Statement by fax for checking, savings, certificates, and loans
  • Voice messaging
  • Order checks
  • Place stop payments
  • Customers can select an option which will prompt them with a series of pre-recorded questions to initiate a new account application

Streamlined Information Access

 

TeleBanc NT utilizes a streamlined message flow design to eliminate keystrokes, allowing customers to receive information quickly and easily. When using the account access method, customer accounts can be accessed simply by entering an account number and secure Personal Identification Number. After the customer is logged on to the TeleBanc NT system, a customer profile is established containing all the accounts the customer owns on a single portfolio. The TeleBanc NT script is dynamic and presents only those menus and options that pertain to accounts owned by that customer. These custom scripts save time and simplify the customer's choices. Additionally, customers familiar with the menus can simply enter their choice when they first enter the menu to bypass the descriptions of each menu choice.

  TeleBanc NT provides an excellent vehicle to acquaint both current and prospective customers with information on new and existing products, current rates or other banking services. Essentially, TeleBanc NT becomes a 24-hour sales tool because the options offered to callers are established by the institution. These options may include information about featured products, such as certificates of deposit or mortgage loans. Prospective customers can inquire into current interest rates, perform a note payment calculation to find an affordable loan, plan an investment strategy or get more information about other bank products through TeleBanc NT.
