The Information Technology, Inc. Federal Call Reporting System (FCR) generates call reports quickly, simply and completely. One primary characteristic that distinguishes FCR is its ability to gather and extract information from deposit, loan, general ledger and bond application data bases. FCR accumulates account totals and creates one or both of the following:

  A printed report in a format similar to a federal call report. A data file that can be downloaded* to a personal computer for 1) Electronic transmission to FFIEC through its selected vendor (requires a modem and PC transmission software), or 2) Input into any PC based call reporting system.

Whatever form the output may take, FCR eliminates the manual, labor-intensive process of gathering information. FCR works primarily from specifications that establish the format of the call report schedules and forms, and the origin of account totals that are integrated into the reports. FCR gathers totals from the application data bases and creates a complete report. In the process, additional reports can be generated to verify the integrity of the data. On-line access allows manual adjustments to reported totals, and changes to report formats to accommodate changes in regulatory requirements.
